An illustration by Charles Robinson (1870-1937) of a fantasy scene showing a baby mermaid sat on the shore of a rock pool surrounded by two female bathers. The brother of William Heath Robinson, Charles was an active member of the London Sketch Club. He produced a number of dreamy and romantic illustrations in the style of The Fairy School for The Sketch, The Tatler and The Bystander.
