Dr Lion’s baby incubators proved to be a great attraction at the Berlin Exhibition. Babies aged between five & eight months old were kept alive in warm temperatures and nourished with drops of milk. Lion termed them as an artificial foster mother. They pre-dated Martin Couney’s invention and where commercially produced for supply through Europe and America.
