Engraving showing a banquet on board the Viceroy of Egypt’s yacht, Faid Gihaad, then in the River Thames off Woolwich, London, July 1862. This image shows the after deck of the yacht, transformed into a room by the use of sun-awning & side walls. The Faid Gihaad was a paddle-steamer, 383 foot long; then the largest steamer ever to arrive at Woolwich.
