Historic print of a Front Cover illustration by Terence Cuneo for the Illustrated London News special number covering the Festival of Britain in 1951, showing the site on London's South Bank. Born in London, Cuneo (1907-1996) was a successful illustrator who contributed to many magazines, specifically the Illustrated London News. During World War II, he was the paper's special war artist, following in the footsteps of his father Cyrus who had drawn for the paper during World War I. A renowned painter of locomotives, Cuneo's statue today stands in Waterloo Station. This historic print is available as an unframed giclee print, box canvas print or framed print.
