Our Artist s impression of the new polo ground at Beyris, half-way between Biarritz and Bayonne, which was opened last year by the King of Spain. The polo season at Biarritz starts in August, the summer season continuing to between the middle of September and, at the lastest, the middle of October. Blampied (1886-1966) drew countless illustrations for the ILN magazines. As well as scenes of typical London life for The Illustrated London News, he produced a number of colour pictures for The Bystander featuring the glamorous and privileged classes at fashionable resorts around the world.
