Historic illustration of Johann van Riebeek landing at the Cape of Good Hope in 1652, from the Illustrated London News, 8th October 1927. Van Riebeek arrived at the Cape with three Dutch East India Company ships and orders to establish a temporary revictualling station. He was so successful that the temporary presence turned into the city of Cape Town. This historic illustration is available as an unframed giclee print, box canvas print or framed print.
